St. Joseph's Hospice
14th July 2019 14:00 - 16:00

St. Joseph’s Hospice will host a very special celebration and remembrance event on Sunday 14th July to help those who have lost family and friends to remember them in a very special way.

A Rose to Remember will take place from 2pm in the grounds of St. Josephs Hospice, on Ince Road in Thornton. A special non-religious remembrance service will take place at our Pool of Remembrance at 2.30pm, led by humanist celebrant Natalie Hughes-Crean. This will be followed by a vintage afternoon tea on the hospice lawn.

The hospice has created a limited number of unique and handcrafted iron roses especially for the occasion. The roses are a beautiful and lasting tribute to loved ones who have passed away and are available to order now, for a minimum donation of £20. The roses will be available to collect and take home on the day. Living white roses will also be available on the day as well as hearts to hang on the hospice’s memory tree.

The limited edition iron roses have been individually hand-crafted by the British Ironwork Centre and will also be available to purchase at the hospice’s Garden Party on Saturday 13th July and at its Gin Evening on Friday 12th July. All proceeds will go towards caring for patients at the hospice.

To make sure you don’t miss out, you can purchase yours in advance by calling the fundraising team on 0151 932 6044 or emailing events@jospice.org.uk. The hospice will make sure they are personalised to your wishes and ready for you to collect on the day.
