Hospice Care Week

08th - 14th October 2018
00:00 (each day)

Go green and show how much you heart your hospice.

Do you heart your hospice? Show us you care about hospice care by getting your school or workplace to wear green during this year’s Hospice Care Week. Or download one of our special Hospice Care Week hearts and send us a photo on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.

Hospice UK is the national charity for hospice care and they organise Hospice Care Week every October to raise the profile of hospice care across the UK.

The theme for this year’s Hospice Care Week is ‘Heart my hospice’ so it’s a great opportunity to show how much you care about your hospice; from all the staff and volunteers who keep it going every single day to all those whose lives have been touched by it.

This year, it all kicks off on Monday 8th October and, as green is our hospice colour, we’re asking our local community and supporters to wear green to show they care about St. Joseph’s Hospice for just one day during the week.

As a charity, our care is provided free of charge by our dedicated nursing team who look after all aspects of end of life care for over 200 patients with a wide range of life-limiting conditions every year.

Download a 'I Heart My Hospice' heart.

Please get your school or workplace involved and share your photos with us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram @JospiceUK #HeartMyHospice.
