Collection Boxes

Our collection boxes raise over £20,000 a year from a variety of businesses, offices, shops, pubs, clubs and other outlets.

They provide a valuable source of income to enable Jospice to continue to provide its first-class services free of charge to those who need them.

    • Give a box a home!

Giving a home to a collection box is the easiest way to support us.

Our distinctive yellow collection boxes are perfect for the workplace - simply put the box where your customers / clients can see it - near the till or on reception.

Our blue cardboard collection boxes are ideal for the home - the perfect place to store your loose change!

When the box is full, there are two options available to you:

      1. Deliver the box to the hospice and we'll swap it for a new one!

      2. Call the hospice and we will arrange for it to be collected (and of course, bring you a new one!)

Once we have counted up and banked the money you have collected, we will send you a certificate to thank you for your support and tell you how much you raised.

      It really couldn't be easier.

Please also be assured that Jospice in no way holds you accountable for the contents of the box! We simply ask that you take the normal precautions to avoid loss.

If you can give a box a home - or have a full one waiting to be collected - please contact Jeni on 01514 932 2056 / jeni.nugent@jospice.org.uk

    • Community Coordinators

If you have a collection box in your home or workplace, chances are your neighbours do too.

Community Coordinators look after all of the collection boxes in a specific area - usually near to where you live or where you work.

The time commitment for these roles can vary, but as a minimum we would ask you to offer half a day every 6 months.

On that day you will visit the shops and businesses in your area to collect their box and give them a new one.

Then, when you've collected all your boxes, you bring them to us here at Jospice.

If you would be interested in helping us out with this, please get in touch with Jeni on 0151 932 2056 / jeni.nugent@jospice.org.uk
