In order to make this easier and reduce any hassle (when you are probably busy making party plans) we can supply some ready printed cards on which you simply write the details about the celebration it is honouring. These can be sent out with your invitations. The cards give our address so gifts can be sent directly to us.
We will keep a record of all the gifts and let you know who has contributed,
All you need to do it provide us with:
– Your name & address
– The event or celebration it relates to
– Quantity of cards required
We will then post them to you to for you to distribute.

Getting your school or college involved not only raises money but also awareness of Jospice. Support from our local schools is very important to us. If you would like to fundraise for Jospice, we can help with ideas, supply information, posters and support. We are also happy to visit schools, both primary and secondary and give talks about Jospice.
The overseas work of Jospice in South & Central America is often a subject of great interest to schools, and very often children can associate very much with supporting the health and well being of children who are not as fortunate as themselves. It also adds to educating in the wider sense of hospice care in other parts of the world.
Often schools and colleges will sell cuddly toys as Christmas & Easter that we stock, or run an event. Every contribution makes a huge difference to us to try and cover the costs of continuing our services and value the opportunity it gives us to tell people of all ages about the work we do.
Examples of school s fundraising and supporting Jospice.
St Mary’s College Crosby often make a donation to us form the annual Edmund Rice walk
Sacred Heart Catholic College have adopted Jospice as their charity for a term, and will be fundraising to support out work overseas, including collecting items for our container being shipped to San Pedro Sula
St Gregory’s primary school Lydiate made a valuable donation to our work from funds raise by the pupils running the daily “Tutti Fruitti shop
