Follow the yellow brick road to the Emerald Ball

Have you got the heart of the Tin Man, the courage of the Lion or the brains of the Scarecrow?

If so, St. Joseph’s Hospice is inviting you to join them for the highlight of their 55th Anniversary year – the Emerald Charity Ball!

The stunning Isla Gladstone Conservatory, in Stanley Park, will be transformed in to the Emerald City on Saturday 9th September so hospice supporters had better get their ruby slippers ready.

Tickets are on sale now for just £50 and all guests will receive a welcome drink on arrival, plus a delicious three-course meal, live entertainment and some very special surprises.

During the evening, St. Joseph’s Hospice will celebrate the tremendous achievements of Father O’Leary and the team of nurses and staff who have worked for the hospice over the last 55 years as well as raise money to ensure that it can continue its work for the next 55 years!

All net proceeds raised on the night will go directly to providing specialist end of life care for patients at St. Joseph’s Hospice as well as support for their families.

For local businesses, there is a range of sponsorship packages available that will enable them to showcase their brand and raise their profile at the event.

Mike Parr, Chief Executive of St Joseph’s Hospice, said: “Our Emerald Ball will be the highlight of our fundraising calendar during our very special 55th anniversary year and we’re asking all our supporters, and members of our local community and business community, to support us. In return, we can promise them a fantastic evening when we will celebrate everything that the hospice has achieved over the last 55 years.

“A key part of our anniversary year is to generate funding for the future of the hospice so that that during the next 55 years we can expand our services and provide more care to more people right across Merseyside and West Lancashire.”
