Furniture quest in Warbreck Moor

If you're planning a winter clear out, St. Joseph’s Hospice are on the lookout for a wide range of goods – from jewellery, clothes, toys and books to knick knacks and even furniture – to sell in their shops.

A brand new St. Joseph’s Hospice furniture shop will open in Warbreck Moor, near Aintree, in February and so they are in urgent need of furniture donations to take pride of place in the new shop. They will even arrange to come and collect your furniture or do a house clearance.

The hospice’s shops are a really valuable source of income for them as they raise over £100k each year, which goes directly towards caring for patients at the Thornton hospice.

The charity has shops right across Merseyside so you can drop any non-furniture donations off at your nearest shop and they will then distribute them to other St. Joseph’s Hospice shops if needed.

Any specialist or valuable items donated are sold through its eBay shop to make sure that they raise an appropriate amount of money for each item. They even have a team of trained volunteers on hand to check each item and make sure it is being sold in the best place.

If you’d like to arrange a house-clearance or furniture collection, call the Warbreck Moor shop on 0151 525 3072 or the Kensington shop on 0151 260 6685.
