A Gift in Memory

Thank you for considering supporting St Joseph's Hospice by donating or fundraising in memory of your loved one. It means a lot to us that you are thinking of us at what may be a difficult time.

There are many ways that you can raise money in memory of a loved one.

Set up a Tribute Fund

You can set up a Tribute Fund on Much Loved. Many people choose to have a Tribute fund in lieu of flowers at the funeral. On Much Loved you can also share memories and light candles for your loved one.

We can also provide donation envelopes for the funeral, please just get in touch if this is something you would like.

Adopt a Tree

We are very fortunate to be set in 12 acres of beautiful woodland, and our trees provide a great deal of comfort to our patients and their families. You can adopt one of our trees in memory of your loved one for a minimum donation of £250. We invite you and your family along to the hospice to choose your tree, whether it is a mature tree or a young sapling. Each adoption lasts for five years and you will receive a special wooden heart which you can personalise with a special message. Your donation will support the ongoing work of the hospice.

To find out more about adopting a tree, please email us at fundraising@stjhospice.org.uk or call 0151 932 6044.

Buy a Brick in our Pool of Remembrance

You can dedicate on of the bricks in our beautiful pool of remembrance. Just choose the wording you would like on the brick and we will do the rest. The Pool of Remembrance is a lovely, peaceful place to sit and be with your memories.

It is £500 to purchase a brick. Please email us at fundraising@stjhospice.org.uk or call us on 0151 932 6044.

Rose to Remember

Each summer you can dedicate a rose in our special garden to a loved one. You can put your loved one's name and your relationship to them on the rose, which can be viewed in our grounds any time.

It is a minimum donation of £5 to dedicate a rose. You can download a form here or call us on 0151 932 6044.

Light up a Life

Light up a Life is a very special way to honour your loved ones. You can dedicate a light on our beautiful Christmas tree, and you get a star to place on the tree at our Light up a Life service in December.

You can dedicate a light to remember a loved one, but also in celebration of a birth, wedding or for those who live far away. Dedications can be made from October each year, and we will put more information on how to make a dedication on our website and social media. You can call our fundraising department for more information on 0151 932 6044.

Fundraise In  Memory

We have many events throughout the year, with many people choosing to take part in memory of a loved one. From an abseil off Liverpool Cathedral to skydiving, cycling from Liverpool to Chester, or learning to dance in Strictly St Joseph's, there is a challenge for everyone.

Or, you can choose to take part in your own challenge which is more personal to you & your loved one.

To find out more about our events, or get support with your own fundraising, you can contact us at fundraising@stjhospice.org.uk or call us on 0151 932 6044.

We can provide you with sponsor forms, a t-shirt, collecting tins and posters. You can also raise money online through JustGiving - just head to our page here to start fundraising.
