How you can help the hospice
The support of our local community and local businesses is vital to St. Joseph's Hospice. Without continuous fundraising by so many people, it would not be possible for us to keep the Hospice running. In the next few years, we need to increase our fundraising to ensure its survival and to build on the care and services we offer. This is where we need your help. To continue with the vision we need to raise £61,250 a week - that's more than £3,000,000 a year.
There are so many different ways that you can help us keep the St. Joseph's Hospice vision alive, through volunteering, fundraising, attending one of our events or joining our lottery. Follow the links below and on the right for all the inspiration you need!

Donations in lieu of personal gifts at times of celebration
We sometimes find that friends would rather support the hospice than receive personal gifts at a time of celebration, such as a wedding anniversary or special birthday. This is easy to do by asking friends and family to send a donation to St. Joseph's Hospice.
In order to make this easier and reduce any hassle (when you are probably busy making party plans) we can supply some ready printed cards on which you simply write the details about the celebration it is honouring. These can be sent out with your invitations. The cards give our address so gifts can be sent directly to us.
We will keep a record of all the gifts and let you know who has contributed,
All you need to do it provide us with:
- Your name & address
- The event or celebration it relates to
- Quantity of cards required
We will then post them to you to for you to distribute. For more information please contact us on 0151 924 3812.
